We are the Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega here at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Alpha Chi Omega prides itself upon five things: Personal Development, Character, Financial Responsibility, Leadership, and Intellectual Development. The underlying factor that holds us together though, is love. At Alpha Chi, you’ll find just that- a sisterhood of love.
Every member of AXΩ is sure to find that essential balance between social events, academics, work, and extracurricular activities with the help of her sisters. Our members are involved in various clubs on campus, participate in college events, belong to sports teams, and are outstanding representatives for Alpha Chi Omega. Any sister is willing to step in and help a sister out if she may need company on the couch watching Glee, a group to dress-up with to attend an exchange, a tutor for Chem., or a ride to class! We are sisters by chance, and friends by choice!
By working together to reach the heights, we are able to achieve so much. I am so proud of the accomplishments we have made thus far, and eager for what is to come in the future. We just received awards for Outstanding Risk Management, Outstanding Leadership and Development/ Campus and Community Involvement. We were also selected as an alternate candidate for Sorority of the Year! With love and devotion, we work to improve the community and play a part in something bigger than ourselves. From collecting diapers and baby wipes for our local Women’s Shelter, to fundraising for the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation, AXΩ strives to improve the community and we focus on helping victims of domestic violence, our philanthropy.
I strongly urge you to meet each one of our members; they are all driven, intelligent and unique women that play an important part of this house! Joining this house has been the best decision I have ever made. My membership in this organization has come to define me and I have made life-long friends, sisters, who will be a part of my life forever. I have been given the honor of leading Alpha Chi Omega and am absolutely thrilled to give back to it what it has given to me.
